Andrzej Wajda Retrospective

The retrospective will showcase some of Wajda's best work, films by some of the Wajda Film School, and an exhibition of original posters of his films, made by the greatest Polish artist of the time. Andrzej Wajda is a symbol of Polish cinema, the social cinema, political and moral that is less none out of Poland. His followers at the Wajda School continue his journey, creating poetic and personal cinema emphasizing social involvement.

Jon Jost - Retrospective

In the Book of Chronicles of American independent cinema Jon Jost may be considered the last Mohican. For 40 years he has produced, directed, scripted (those films that have scripts), films, and edits his absurdly low budgeted films. Jost's cinema offers an intellectual and esthetic experience, which the limited access to them borders narcissism. Jean-Luc Godard once called Jost "the best contemporary American filmmaker".
